Prabhu Mohapatra Gyanasurya Mohapatra Minati Kuanar
I am from the beautiful Steel City Rourkela, Orissa, India. At present, I am continuing my
post-doctoral research in Synthetic
Methodology (since February 2003) with Prof. Alan R. Katritzky at
the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida,
USA after a postdoc in Self-Assembly
(since June 2001 to January 2003 ) with Prof. George R. Newkome at the University
of Akron, Akron, Ohio, USA. I did my Ph.D. (1994-1999) with Prof. Shive
M.S. Chauhan at Delhi
University and my Masters in Chemistry with specializations in Organic
Chemistry from Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar, Orissa in 1991. I worked at Ranbaxy Research
Laboratory as a Research Associate in Chemical Research for two years
(1999-2001) after completing my PhD.
I
got happily married to Minati Kuanar on 28th January
1999, and blessed with a son
(Gyanasurya) on 3rd March 2000.
